Conducted by Indian Air Force test jumpers, the system is designed for high-altitude operations, enhancing troop deployment efficiency and strengthening India’s self-reliance in advanced airborne missions. The MCPS is now the only parachute system in operational use by the Indian Armed Forces capable of deployment above 25,000 feet.
